I'm assuming you're trying to run a script and the path points to a
certain directory in /Macintosh HD. You can use this so it doesn't
matter where the script is being run from it still works. For example
this is installing a .pkg that's in the same ...
@hkim. I already tried running that command. The installer script can't
be run as root and in that script it prompts for the user to hit enter.

Lhsachs- I am running into a similar issue when trying to launch
/path/to/application.app or
/path/to/application.app/Contents/MacOS/application.app but it doesn't
happen to every machine that I run this on. What did you do to solve
this? Cheers!
